Can I link the jpg I uploaded to my bio information?

Yes, you sure can! I see that you've already uploaded the picture using the Upload file link in the toolbox on the left side of the screen. Go to your personal user page and simply add the text . If you'd like to get fancier, you can left-justofy it on the page and have the text on the page wrap around it by entering this: .
Have fun! Tim |

Thanks for the info, Tim. But I must still be missing a step.
I think I went to the correct page and added it, but when I click on the link, I'm taken to the Upload page again. Are you able to check my edit & fix? |

The filenames, both for linking to other pages on TaxAlmanac as well as for linking in images are case sensitive. You uploaded the photograph with an extension of ".JPG" but used ".jpg" on your user page. I made the change and it looks great now! |

You're right though, it's huge!! If you can, please shrink to thumbnail size. Thanks! |

Fixed - take a look at it now and let me know what you think. |

I've tried and tried to upload a picture, but I keep getting a big red error message. Are the instructions accurate? |

Birdman:
What does the error message say? What type of picture are you trying to upload? You can also email the picture to taxalmanac@intuit.com and I can upload it for you.

You have three options:
1. Resize the picture with a photo editor of your choice. 2. Email the picture to me at taxalmanac@intuit.com and I'll resize it for you. 3. Upload the file as is and have TaxAlmanac resize it for display - like this: . Adjust the "200px" and preview until it's the size you want. - Tim Doyle, TaxAlmanac Moderator - Talk to me 11:34, 12 March 2007 (CST) |

I tried to do the "|200px" thing but I got the following error:Error creating thumbnail: sh: /usr/local/bin/convert: No such file or directory
If I take away the "|200px" then everything is OK. Anybody can help? |
