You MUST be a Tax, Financial, or Accounting Professional to participate on TaxAlmanac. Please fill out your user page profile prior to making a post.
Returning users need only to fill in their username and password.
- You must have cookies enabled to log in to TaxAlmanac.
Registering a free account takes only a few seconds, and allows you to make page edits on TaxAlmanac.
- To register, choose a username and password and click "create account".
- Avoid usernames that are offensive, inflammatory, or confusing.
- Pick a readable name, not just a number. Please avoid long user names*, and do not use an e-mail address.
- Usernames must start with a capital letter, but names in all caps should be avoided.
- Watch your privacy! We suggest you not use your email address or full name.
The fields for your email and your real name are optional. Storing an email address enables people to contact you through the website without you having to reveal your email address to them, and it can be used to send you a new password if you forget it. If you choose to send an e-mail with the website, the recipient will be able to view your e-mail address in order to reply. You may disable receiving email from other users via the website at any time by updating your preferences.
Intuit respects and protects your privacy and will not rent, sell or share your personal information with outside companies for their promotional use. The information you provide to Intuit for the TaxAlmanac registration may be used to contact you regarding your postings or to inquire about your TaxAlmanac experience. Your user name will be displayed publicly with your forum postings. You can update this information at any time by clicking on “Preferences” at the top of any screen.
