Hello, my name is Chris and I go by the nickname ChrisV2.
I am currently a financial operations manager at a fortune 100 I/T company. I worked for a good friend of mine at his large (>1,000 client) tax firm for five seasons 2008-2012. He sold the firm in late 2013 so at that point I went out on my own starting from a blank sheet of paper so to speak. Since I have a full time corporate job I'd like to slowly build my tax business over the next decade, as I plan for retirement (whatever that means these days!).

Since I take the fact that people trust me to complete their tax returns accurately and to their greatest (legal!) advantage, I studied for and passed all three parts of the IRS special enrollment exam and received my EA certificate in January 2012. I greatly appreciate the resources here at TaxAlmanac, and the fact that so many nice professionals in this field are willing to take time out to help and answer questions.
I don't really have any hobbies right now, but I do have an entrepreneurial itch and have started several business over the years, including a small automotive refinishing retail website in 2010 which I really enjoy running.
