| In 2007 my client issued W2 forms and submitted W3 under an incorrect EIN which belonged to his other business. However 2007 withholding taxes were deposited under the correct EIN.
Now he has received a letter from SSA saying that his 2007 wages do not match with Income Tax return. What would be the best way to solve this problem? Does he need to issue a W3c for 2007 and attach w2c SSA copy. Should the employees be given a copy of w2c also even though it is rather late for that. Secondly How do you get w3c for 2007 because it is not down loadable. I will appreciate feed back from learned forum members. Kraza | |
