Overview
New contributors are prospective members and are therefore our most valuable resource. We must treat newcomers with kindness and patience. Sending a personal "Welcome!" to them will make them feel at home and increase the chances of them staying around and joining the community.

How to Welcome New Users
- Watch the User Introductions Discussion Forum and when someone introduces themselves, give them a warm welcoming reply.
- Watch the Recent Changes page, filtered for User pages for pages with an N - this means they're newly created pages, which indicates a new person who has registered on TaxAlmanac. Go to their User Talk page and leave them a welcome message.
