You posted your recent Q to a DIY discussion - I've moved it for you

Hi, given the date and all, people aren't reading the non-pro/consumer forum as much as they might otherwise, and certainly don't seem to be responding there. The discussion you found about downsides to the Sec. 1.1367-1(g) election was over in that less-viewed forum, since it opens up with a DIY question and then doesn't really go anywhere.

To try to get you some responses, I've reposted your question to another discussion on a similar topic: Discussion:Suspended loss on an S-corp & Sec. 1.1367-1(g) election. That's in the pro tax forum and may get more views. Also, did you see the post by CGJohnson or some name like that at the end here: Discussion:S-Corp At Risk Rules? Don't know if that's the kind of thing you were looking for.

Hope that helps.

End of the forum

You may have heard by now that the Tax Almanac ( ) web site forum is permanently closing its doors effective June 1. Perhaps you have seen the pink bombshell “Important Service Announcement” when logging in.

Long-time TA user ChrisV2 has volunteered to set up a new website where TA users may continue the discussion. The site is up and running now and has an active base of contributors.

We invite you to take a look and join your fellow TA refugees.
