Sale of Inherited Property
Regarding the answer you gave prior......Showing the sale on Sch D.....I have the FMV from an appraisal, done immediately after death, and I have the sale amount....resulting in a $31,000 difference ....is this loss deductible?????Property was inherited from sister/aunt to sister/nephew.....I realize it would be 1/2 ownership....but would they really be entitled to the loss????
What are necessary steps to show "due diligence" in trying to obtain a child care provider's SSN? I could write her a letter, but I doubt she would respond. We went to court (Judge Judy) over her mispresentation of herself as a "licensed daycare" (p.s. I won). Do you have any suggestions???
Finding a User
It's fairly easy to find a user's page - simply click on their name in the discussion forum. You can also type "User:Riley2" in the search box on the left. However, I don't believe that Riley has added much personal information about himself, a personal choice he made.
