You and I are alike is some ways. My ? is got a client who was a W-2 until Oct/2006 and started w/Fed Ex, indepndt contrctr/sole prp, in late Oct/early Nov and "purchased" delivery truck, which is about the same size of the big UPS trucks. OK here's the scenario: the sole prop fiance'/girlfriend got the loan for the truck under her name, sole prp had bad credit, and it is the sole prp making the monthly payments. 2 questions: can we 179/depr the truck even though under girlfriends name and can the 179 occur when making loan payments. Not quite sure if these payments are lease payments. Thank you for your valuable time!!

Can't get by on 200k

Pegoo: I have clients that cannot get by on 200K a year! They are maxed out on everything. It's insane. Yet, I see stocks up by 400pts. today.
