Letter regarding release of PTIN information

As you might guess, this whole issue bothers me. Did the letter you receive simply state that the IRS was going to release that information? Were you given any options to change any information? Natalie 21:20, 28 October 2011 (UTC)Natalie

The letter you described sounds like it came more from an EA association than the IRS. I can tell you I've never received anything like that. The only letter I got was that "someone" had applied for a PTIN in my name, and I didn't need to do anything if I was the one who had. Natalie 21:08, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Natalie
