Use of TaxAlmanac

Hi -

I saw that your first post on TaxAlmanac appears to be some kind of an advertisement for a book. Advertising like this is not allowed on TaxAlmanac, other than on your own user page, where you are free to provide any information about yourself that you'd like, including links to products you've helped develop or would simply like to recommend to others. Also, links to reference guides or articles that clearly add to or answer a tax question/tax discussion are allowed.

It is not clear exactly what you were trying to accomplish with your post, and so at this point it's going to be deleted under the guidelines we use for deleting spam and unwelcome advertising. I'll provide some links that may help you better understand TaxAlmanac and how to use it to your benefit at the bottom of the post, and will also paste the contents of the discussion here in case you'd like to have it on record that you did try to post the info here.

Here are the links for familiarizing yourself with TaxAlmanac: Code of Conduct, Policies, FAQ, Hints and Tips on How to Search on TaxAlmanac, and an Overview of TA.

Also, specifically with regard to advertising, etc.:

Thanks,
