Apptax's depreciation discussion has been moved to the Chat forum

Your political comment has resulted in Apptax's discussion being moved to the Chat forum (political comments are not allowed on the tax forum - I think you may have known that, given the wording of your post, but it seemed necessary to point out that's what caused the discussion to be moved).

Now, Apptax may well have wished for more tax responses to his question, since it seems he doesn't have the experience to interpret the prior discussions on this topic. If you'd like to help him in that regard, then you could, if you wish, edit your post to remove the political comment. Then the discussion could be returned to the pro forum. But that's completely up to you; the discussion is now fine to go in any direction in the Chat forum.

Should you need info on editing your post, you can refer to the FAQ, or the help pages.

EADave, I think that if you and I (and others) take religion/sin out of the discussion, and focus on the tax implications of the repeal of Section 3 of DOMA, we will be able to agree on much more than that on which we disagree. Truce? Kevinh5 20:47, 1 July 2013 (UTC)

Yes the good old days

I remember the days when I could actually listen to the AM radio, but not now with all the crazy talk. They say all things shall pass but I am so ready for this to pass. Real quick. Take care & good luck. PollyAdler 15:42, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

A Good Win...

A good win by the 49er's...they were the real pros today...

10-points won't win a lot of games in the NFL...not just because it's a low number, but because it puts too much pressure on your defense...which gets compounded against a good running team like San Fran...

Most people around town here thought San Fran would win it...I'm glad I went to 2pm Yoga...

Good experience for the Panthers, though, and Cam...the 49er's are way beyond that "it's just nice to be here" point and have a legitimate shot to win the whole thing. Very solid team, from top to bottom...

I didn't watch the game...thinking it might just turn out how it did...But I listened on the radio before I assumed the Downward Dog position at class. Penalties certainly matter. These games invariably come down to "the little things" with penalties being one of them...or take that interception at the beginning of the game by San Fran - excellent play. Then when Carolina has an interception opportunity, it's a drop. This is what separates the pros from the chumps.

That Seattle game will be great. They have a pretty incredible organization all the way around. Last time Carolina went there and played in the playoffs, Carolina got spanked pretty's a great Soccer city as well.

Go to Yoga and reach out whenever you need to...

Perhaps I will jump on the San Fran bandwagon, just as Ric Flair the wrestler did. In fact, I'm wearing an "FGCU" hat right now. Had I even heard of the place before a great NCAA basketball appearance last year...*hardly.* Some guy accused me of not even knowing where the school was. I of course said, "Oh yes I's in *Florida*."

Was that you?

Was that you that sent me a message about restitution...the message wasn't signed. Check out the above and feel free to link it to our *interesting* "Politician" discussion...

Quite an excellent book. You ought to read it after tax season.
