I work for that store front they hate also ... I saw the tax alert today. I wonder if that really is their position or just the Tax Int. I asked the DM if that was our position in Florida ... no answer. I think it could be bad Public ... I don't see a major corp saying ignore the law because it has been been enforced lately ....

April 15 discussion

Hi, Dan - would you mind if I moved your question to either Chat (it's a good chat topic) or the Practice Management forum (re: office scheduling)? It's not an actual tax question, and as we get closer to...well, April 15, people seem to be getting touchier about some of the questions in the tax forum. If you have a preference, let me know. Which forum it moves to may slightly affect the types of responses you get (more chatty on the chat forum, as you might expect).

RAL discussion - practice mgt topic

Hi, Dan - As D&T mentioned early in your recent RAL discussion, you may get more on-point responses in the practice management forum. Rally and some other users with relevant practice models read and post there but don't spend much time on the tax forum.

So I'll shift your discussion there and you can see if the topic gets pulled back to your OP.

practice mgt/bus growth forum

I've moved your recent Circular 230 discussion over to the practice mgt forum from the tax forum. Since it was more of a practice/client mgt issue from the start, and not a tax question, that may have been the best place for it all along, but now that it's veered into a licensing/testing discussion, it definitely needed to go there!

You can still access it via the "my contributions" link in the upper right corner of your screen.

End of the forum

You may have heard by now that the Tax Almanac ( www.taxalmanac.org ) web site forum is permanently closing its doors effective June 1. Perhaps you have seen the pink bombshell “Important Service Announcement” when logging in.

Long-time TA user ChrisV2 has volunteered to set up a new website where TA users may continue the discussion. The site is up and running now and has an active base of contributors.
