Mike:

Would it be possible for you to send me a quick email at taxalmanac@intuit.com so I can reply back with a question in email?

Thank you!

Need your help

I need your help. I am trying to get people to fill out their user pages. Could you reply to the "Who are you?" discussion and just say that you have added information to your page?

Thanks!

Mis-Stated Depreciation

Dr Brisket- The asset is a truck used 66% for business. They used actual expenses 'vs' standard mileage. No section 179 was taken. Does the Section 179 suggestion still apply? I don't suspect future use to drop under 50%.

Brisket Question

Mike,

Hope you are still out there and get a chance to see this. This is a legit question about brisket. I have been doing briskets myself for a few years. I've heard pros and cons about this issue. I am not asking for your secrets, trust me. But, a few weeks ago, I had did four and they held at 155 for several hours and started to go down. I was told to wrap in foil to push the temp. Did I offend the BBQ gods? Also, I read where some guys inject. Any reasons why? Seems to me poking holes would cause the juices to leak out. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Hope your tax season is going well. TomTaocpa 07:23, 25 February 2008 (CST)

Form 8880

Good Morning, Dr. B,

I'm taking the liberty of addressing you directly, as you did have some good info regarding this form. My question has remained unanswered, perhaps because it appears so obvious'--I don't know.

I just need a quick response.....If the retirement amount is NOT coded in box 12 and is just lised in box 14 as RET....am I still able to use the credit on form 8880?

I would so appreciate you help.

Thank you.
