Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to TaxAlmanac! My name is Tim Doyle and I serve here in the role of TaxAlmanac Moderator. If you haven't done so already, you might want to review our Quick Start Guide to help you get oriented.
As you begin to interact on TaxAlmanac, your changes will be linked to this page, your personal user page. We encourage you to edit this page and add a short description about yourself. This will allow others to better understand your background and qualifications as they review any replies or information that you submit.
If you have tax-related questions, we encourage you to add them in our Tax Questions Discussion Forum. We also suggest that you introduce yourself to the other members of the TaxAlmanac community on the User Introduction Discussion Forum.
If you can think of anything we can do to make TaxAlmanac a more useful resource to you, please feel free to give us your feedback on the TaxAlmanac Feedback Discussion Forum.
I hope you enjoy being a member of the TaxAlmanac community! If you have any questions, see the help pages or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

Have you found an answer yet for your ESPP question? I would be interested in it also.
Charlotte?
Bell are you in Charlotte also? I can't help yo with the merger question but since you were asking about the Wachovia I thought maybe you were in Charlotte as well.
Refundable AMT Credit from ISO
Hi Bell - Wanted to contact you regarding our discussion and see if you have a chance to review/comment on what I found as I was walking through the forms (see my post to the discussion). Hope your busy season is smooth so far!
Your question was moved to Business Growth Forum
Your pricing question discussion has been moved to the Business Growth Forum, which is now being used for both Business Growth and Practice Management issues. Your question was more of a practice management issue than an actual tax question.

A recent discussion you started has just been moved
In case you're still following your discussion Discussion:VIP MD - you may not be, since your tax question has been pretty well addressed and the more recent posts are clearly broadening the topic:
Your discussion has been moved over to the Chat Forum. This was done because members have requested that discussions with political/ideological content not be included in the tax forum. The tax forum is for non-ideological discussions, although sometimes with certain topics there's a gray area where it's tough to talk about the topic without getting into a little bit about future expectations with regard to tax rates, tax acts, etc. But at this point, the discussion seems to be over that line, and so the discussion can now continue over in chat.
Thanks for understanding (or if you don't, please let me know),

Hi Bell
Hey Bell, I was reviewing the 1099-A topic we were discussing a few months back. Do you have a few moments that we can pick eachothers brain? My email is jordan@brittandcompany.com
Thanks :)
You may have heard by now that the Tax Almanac ( www.taxalmanac.org ) web site forum is permanently closing its doors effective June 1. Perhaps you have seen the pink bombshell “Important Service Announcement” when logging in.
Long-time TA user ChrisV2 has volunteered to set up a new website where TA users may continue the discussion. The site is up and running now and has an active base of contributors.
We invite you to take a look www.taxprotalk.com and join your fellow TA refugees.
