Fridge discussion

The discussion you (and I) were posting to yesterday has been deleted and restored for admin reasons. It had already moved to page 2 of the index, and maybe you've already gotten the feedback you needed (although not good news!), but in case you go looking for it, it'll be easiest to find if you use the "my contributions" link in the upper right corner of your screen. Feel free to add another post there if you had follow-up questions (e.g., about a particular state). That will put it back into the forum index and pop it to the top of page 1.

Copyright issues

Hi, Barb -

If that info you just posted came off another website, then it's probably a violation of TaxAlmanac's copyright policies. It's better to post the link, rather than the content, so that TA doesn't get in trouble - or worst case, shut down - by the complaining party.

Here are the policies:

I'll do some searching of my own and replace the content with a link if I can see if it's copyrighted info - but please feel free to go ahead now and replace the content with a link and/or a paraphrase. There's info about editing in the FAQ.

editing to add: found the article easily, and provided a link to it. No action on your part is required, other than for the future - linking is always better, and generally also easier! Thanks.
