Long-time TaxAlmanac member

Hi, I see you've been a member of TaxAlmanac since April 2008 - welcome back!

A lot of things have changed since TA first got going, and maybe also since you've been here - so here are some good links for refamiliarizing yourself with TaxAlmanac:
Code of Conduct, Policies, FAQ, and Hints and Tips on How to Search on TaxAlmanac.

Also, we now have individual user pages - called profiles - that can be accessed by the other users by clicking any username in a discussion. To get to yours, click your own name in a discussion, or up at the top center of your screen (or here: Profile). This is where other users will go to find out something about your background and experience as a tax professional. It's pretty important to get some info onto that page, thus it's step 2 to asking a new tax question.

Your level of experience may be an important consideration when users are developing an appropriate answer for your questions. Some (but not all!) users won't answer questions from those without a user profile, others will make a point of asking about your profile if they respond, since they'd have liked to tailor their response to your level of experience. We also use the profile to determine if the people posting might not actually be tax pros (in which case their discussions would be moved out of the tax forum).

It would be appreciated and helpful if you could add something to your user page for others who might be interested..

Thanks!
