Hello, my name is Owen Arnoff and my screen name is TaxSense.

My office is located in Sacramento, California, but I have clients throughout the Western part of the US, in Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona & Texas.

I started out in the life insurance business in 1984. I added a securities license in 1986 and a real estate license in 1990. I was the Chief Financial Officer for a local vehicle cosmetic repair franchisee for 4 1/2 years and then became the CFO for a national franchise for nearly two years. I am an Enrolled Agent. I am a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute as of August 2011.

My office staff consists of eighteen individuals who assist me with a variety of client needs.

I am a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents & the California Society of Enrolled Agents. I am also a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals, the National Society of Tax Professionals, the National Society of Accountants, and the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. I have also been a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 1999.

Although not active in these industries, I continue to maintain my California Life & Disability Agent's license and my California Real Estate Salesperson's license.

I enjoy working with small business owners and helping them grow their businesses through effective tax strategies designed to reduce their tax burden. I mostly focus on 1040, 1065, 1120 and 1120S. I also have a few 1041s and 990s that I prepare as well. Years and years and years of experience with payroll.
