I just started my CPA practice in Florida, but had a small side practice in Connecticut while working in corporate. Most recently worked for the IRS in the examination area and for the State of Florida as a sales tax auditor. I am a CPA in Florida, MD and CT. I am also a member arbitrator within the NASD and have been adjunct faculty of accounting at several universities and colleges in Florida and CT. UCONN fan through and through. Have also done work for the CT Economic Dev Dept translating business literature into Spanish as well as being the lead translator of How to Start a Small Business a publication of Community Accounting Aid Services, Inc., a CSCPA and SBA funded organization.

Any advice on practice management, including financing, is very much appreciated.
