Hello, my name is Norm Osborne and I go by the nickname NMexEA. I am lawyer and an EA with an LL.M.(tax) from Taft Law School. I am in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I am a member of NAEA.

I have had to abandon my project to take the CPA exam. My new management job (with a decidedly Dilbertesque agency) leaves me with little time and less energy. The abandonment is probably permanent. The California CPA Board has made a major set of changes to their educational requirements and I don't think it would be worth taking the additional coursework when there's no chance I'd ever use it.
