Hello, my name is Genevieve and I go by the nickname Genskitty. I have been a tax preparer for 6 years now. I started out working for H&R Block. Now for the first time, I'm setting up my own private practice. Some people may call me crazy but I really really really love preparing tax returns. True it can be aggravating, frustrating and at times you just want to pull your hair out of your head. Why do I like preparing taxes so much? Well let's see, first of all, I am not always doing the same old thing day-in day-out. Every day is something different. Secondly, preparing tax returns keeps me on my toes and my mind sharp. Thirdly, I like talking and listening to people. Fourth, I am using strategy and logic on every single return. Or at least I try to most of the time. I am also working on becoming an EA. Any advice, tips and strategies in passing the SEE would be most helpful.
