Hello, my name is Patrick and I go by the nickname patricka5. I am a CPA that worked 29 years for several Fortune 100 companies in a variety of Accounting roles. Currently, I am looking for a career change as a Tax Preparer. My first goal is to just get some experience and will probably work a year or two at one of the Tax Prep firms, followed by either working for a CPA firm or starting my own practice. In the meantime, I am working on becoming an EA. So far, I have passed parts 1 and 3 and will take part 2 in 2010. Any help other professionals on this board can provide in my career change is greatly appreciated.
