I have been a CPA for over 30 years. I started my career with a stint as an auditor with Touche Ross Bailey & Smart. (Anyone admitting to remembering them is, like me, not a tender, spring chicken.)

I now have a solo practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico doing mostly tax work including a significant amount of taxpayer representation.

I particularly enjoy the challenge of helping clients get unpaid taxes, non-filed returns and other stressful tax-related circumstances under control.

I spend a lot of time and energy using and testing software. I'm a long-time user of Lacerte and QuickBooks and a frequent participant in beta projects for them; and, I have been a member of customer advisory councils for each of those products.

Once or twice a month (except during tax season) I present IRS New Business and New Employer workshops as a volunteer on behalf IRS Stakeholder Liaison.
