Hello, my name is Dave and I go by the nickname Eeyore1954. I am fairly new here as I haven't yet entered much real information on this page to help others better judge who I am. I am a person who has worked in taxes for a long time. I first worked at the IRS in the late 70's in a department called error correction. Before that I had no exposure to taxes. since then I have gotten an MBA with a specialization in accounting. I took and passed the CPA exam about 20 years ago but only worked at a CPA firm for about 6 months. So I never became a CPA which was probably a mistake. I have many years experience in tax software as product manager at a mid sized tax software firm which is no longer selling tax software.
