Hi – my name is Christie. I am a CPA working in private industry. I am a Google addict, Excel junkie, and have love for all things Tax. I recently transitioned back to working part-time (private industry) after taking a year “off” to start my family.

A bit about my accounting/tax experience…

2+ years as a Paraprofessional with a small (10+) local accounting firm – quarterly financial stmts, bank recs, payroll, fixed asset management, and minimal individual tax prep

2 years as a Tax Staff Accountant with a medium (20+) local accounting firm – tax compliance: corp, partnership, S-corp, LLC, and individual

3+ years as Accounting Manager for an international software company – responsible for reporting, day-to-day functions of the acctg dept, and tax compliance: federal/state/local, sales/use tax, property tax, payroll, etc.
