Huh? How so? I didn't push any button on my phone to enroll in auto prescription refill. YOU, the store, decided to enroll me in Auto Refill!

The nerve of these stores today. I call the pharmacy a mere store now instead of a professional practice since they have totally sold out their profession to the efficiencies of the Big Box retailer.

I might want to skip my prescription for a month for the hell of it. I have the right to die! It's as close as I can get to living dangerously. But no, I'm on automatic. My acquiescence is assumed.

I have a call into the pharmacist but I'm sure they are going to tell me there is nothing they can do about it.

I'm being bossed by the machine.

What, are you some kind of control freak? Here they want to save you a phone call and you complain. Actually, I have had the same experience. Yes, I am a control freak. Plus, there are any number of real reasons (not including living dangerously). For example, you may have been out of town and refilled it there. Or you may have been in the hospital, where they insist on using their pharmacy. Or, the doc wants to change or discontinue the prescription. So, I agree with you. Except, at least for me, a call to the pharmacist got me off the list.

They get you on auto refill and then their accountants immediately book the revenue for their quarterly report. lol. I will not play a part in bumping up the CEO's bonus.

Yeah, I called the pharmacist and they took me off. The only thing that ticked me off was that the computer decided to do this for me, to "help" me.

So I gave my phone number to my pharmacy in connection with my prescription and now I get e-mails and texts and untraceable tele-marketing calls. Are these connected? Did somebody breach something?

Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention: some of the "unwanted" (let me near the callers and I will rip their kidneys out) calls, etc., know what my prescription is, and when it needs to be refilled...
