I'm trying to ask a tax question and keep getting directed back to the profile page which I filled out. Could you help me get to the right page to ask my question?

You start on the tax forum; click the link to Start a new Tax Question.

If you're a tax pro, you click the left-hand box on the next page. Then you go through the steps on the submit a question page. Step 1 has some good links about how TA works, step 2 is about doing a search for your topic, since so many questions are already answered in the archives. Step 3 is making sure your profile is updated (you've got that one done!) and step 4 is where you click to ask a question. If you've already done steps 1, 2, and 3, then you're ready to click on one of the links down in step 4.

gosh that gives me an idea: what if no one could ask a question until their profile was completed? hehehehe

Kev - I think that might lead to alot of bogus 'professionals'.
