When I click the Research Resources link to the left I get an empty TA page with this text ---> hacked by uzman.

Anyone else??

Yes, I get the same thing. I went to the main page and clicked on Tax Research Library and also got the "hacked by uzman" page. But the subcategories still take you to the correct page (except for the "research resources" one).

Doesn't say that anymore!  :) (Doesn't say much for uzman's hacking skills if I can do it too)

This has been corrected. We may occasionally have malicious individuals arrive at our doorstep, but it is very easy to revert their edits.

For those of you who might want to help out if something like this happens, simply click on the history tab, select the date & time of the version before the hack, click the edit tab, and save it. That will overwrite the hacked version with the last known good version. If you're not up to this, simply leave a message on my talk page and I will handle it.

Thanks!

You're welcome.

For those of you who don't scare easily, you can also look at the very scary artwork which uzman placed on his user page. I've deleted the content now, but you can view his version at http://www.taxalmanac.org/index.php?title=User:Uzman&oldid=195697

I saw "hacked by jdugan" and was about to block you from the site till I realized what had happened.  ;-) Good thing I know you're a good guy.

Must have nothing going on these days in hacker land. I just think these hackers get bored with their computer games and side track to sites just to cause havock which is really a shame. Unless you are on top of things like TIM is - this sort of thing can screw up ones whole day......

Thanks Tim for doing what you do!

The Return of Beatle Fred starring Mr. U.

But Beatle Fred was a troll, not a hacker...

It is a well-known fact that after selling their father's house, trolls come back as hackers in the after life.

Quite a pleasant fellow. Playstation must have broke down that weekend.

Tim, if I could get you to block me from this site I might actually get some billable work done!
