Hi everyone! I have been in tax business (not CPA, just preparer) for 30 years. Have used several programs, including ProSeries, and have just changed to ProSeries Basic this year. My office is only open on week nights and Saturdays - I'm an office manager during the day. I had my own tax business, and "inherited" my mother-in-law's business when she retired. She had done taxes for over 60 years and has seen a lot of changes and is a big help (even at 87 years old!) but let's face it, she won't be around or able to help forever. So it's good to have a pillow to fall back on - and maybe I can even help someone. Looking forward to discussions.

Hi Patricia,

I, like you, have been a preparer for over 30 years. So many changes. I have a small accounting and tax firm in Woodstock, Georgia. Check out my site: http://www.accountingconnections.org.

I love these sites for they sure help clear some issues. However, it is always wise to check out the citations the responses quote.

Maybe we can help each other along the way.

Take care,

Diane Offutt
