For 2010, the self-employed health insurance premium deduction is allowed as a reduction for self-employment tax as well as income tax (limited to adjusted net s-e income). Where is the deduction taken so that it flows onto the Schedule SE? My software (ATX) does seem to address this.

does or doesn't?

Sorry doesn't - how does it flow onto Sch SE without posting directly to the Schedule C<

sounds like you should refer to your software instructions

Look at Line 3 of Schedule SE (short form)......I see my software does this already. It is early and sometimes software goes thru growing pains.

Yup, just tested. Funny, it really doesn't detail it out on the forms. Form SE, line 3 just says to subtract out the amount from the 1040, line 29 <which is the SE HI deduction amount>
