I just realized that Lacerte is using federal A.G.I. for the purpose of calculation California Charitable contribution limitation (say 50%). IT'S NOT USING CALIFORNIA A.G.I. Is it correct? I looked into the CA law a little bit, it did not say using Federal AGI. Any body from Lacerte or CA accountants, Please advise. thank you!
