Is there a Practitioner Hotline for Hawaii tax info? My long-time client's partner is trying to catch up on some back tax returns, and I need Hawaii withholding info. I'd be grateful if someone can provide a phone number or some other means I can get this info.
Is there a separate POA for Hawaii, or can I use the federal document? Thanks! |

Yes - there is a separate HI POA and if it is not on record with them - they will not talk to you. No idea of a hotline #. Just call their main number - while very pleasant - also very unforgiving. |

Have you checked the website hawaii.gov? There is a ton of information there and I believe the tax rates are available as well. |

For technical questions, you can call 808-587-1577 or send an email to tax.technical.section@hawaii.gov. Otherwise you can send an email to taxpayer.services@hawaii.gov. |
