I've been on this forum for a while. Is there any way to edit a post? If not, there should be. I think it's something that the editors should consider as a way to improve the forum. I like it.

Hi Barbara, yes, you just go to the "edit this page" tab above the title (see it above Discussion: Editing). It is impolite to edit someone else's post, other than for spelling or punctuation or to help make a link work.

I have often added additional info to my posts, or corrected incorrect info/spelling/etc.

You can also delete your post this way too. Just don't delete everyone else's.

Anyone accessing the "history" tab can see who has edited and what the prior version looked like. Try that here, see what edit's I have done on this one response. (click "last" to see the prior version of the post)

You also use the Edit tab to edit your own profile page, as you have done.
