Is there an easy way to find out if client paid estimated taxes besides calling IRS?

Ask the client?

ask the yellow box? (this question has been asked numerous times before)

Kevin, if I use the yellow box, what would generate the best result. Estimated payments plus my clients name or just my clients name?

The yellow box is voice activated. After you pull up the yellow box, proceed to speak into it. Repeat your client's name until the information is pulled up. It may take a few minutes, so sit tight.

Duh, atll he comedians out of work and I get jokes. Haha. Some clients cant get out of the rain. Yellow box, yea, you ask it(if you have time to get nowhere) Thanks all anyway

I know the yellow box has its doubters, and it is a bit ornery, but in this case I don't think the complaints are so warranted. I did a search on "estimated payments" irs "look up", and got a nice concise list of results and one, in particular, that looked quite promising: Discussion:Finding quarterly estimates of clients.

As said many times, those who don't learn from history are destined to repeat it.
