Clients Combat Pay is not included on W2 box 1, 3 or 5. However she was station in Iraq and was paid a total of $21477. Toatl on box 1, 3 and 5 are all only $2926. Nothing show in box 12Q as normal. I'm I missing something?

Please refer to this discussion: Combat Pay. While the Department of Defense lists the amount of excluded combat pay, along with the designation, “Code Q,” in Box 12 of Forms W-2 (pulled from this article); is it possible other entities do not use box 12? For example, there are other discussions here that refer to Code W in box 14 for nontaxable combat pay.

Combat pay is not included in box 1, but would be includible in boxes 3 and 5.
