Awesome Utility, No its not Word, Excel, Lacerte et al but I would not be without it

Installed it uses the Print screen buttom for its on program

ANY screen on your PC, any like all of the screens in many, many programs that have NO print.

Press PrintScreen it Takes a picture of that screen (even a video you are watching picture, text) then you can crop what you want (use a lot of paint type features too) the save, print, email right from there.

Here tracking a long post, reply.

PrintScreen the OP, then only the replies you want and cut paste your printouts, google it

Hugh, we appreciate the information on Gadfly, however, most of the executives on here don't fiddle with that stuff. We have "little people" in the office who do all the computer work, most of us sit behind a desk and issue orders.

"little people"

Crow, I thought you lived in the 19th century. Now I find out you live in the 18th century in Lilliput.

wow, do you speak for everyone here?

Did you bother to go look at its cabilities before your smart reply? Profile says Atty since 1985 Iam a CPA since 1975 oh and a '68nam Combat vet - I PROUDLY serve the little people! Gee I thought every Exec had a PC on theit desk, not just a yellow legal pad.

There is a video here from an Atty about dising EA?

Someone here replied to one of my posts that it looked like you wrote it, I doubt that 180 degrees

by the way it wasn't about a GadFly = a fly that irritates livestock by biting them and sucking their blood. Horseflies are a type of gadfly.

I better stop before the devil makes me do it.

I'm sorry. I might send off for one if it's that good.

I got so many programs on my system now it takes it 20 minutes to boot up.

Windows print screen and alt + print scrn work great for me. Just paste it in Paint and edit. Vista/Win 7 have the Snipping Tool, so I really don't see why someone would need this program.

Hugh, relax. Crow is just haveing a little fun with you...he's constantly pickin on those of us that are attempting "paperless" offices by buying up all the supplies of filing cabinets in the Western Hemisphere....

See Crow? I will defend you when needed :)

Thank you Laticiaw. I hope eveyone is keeping up with this sunspot activity. The sun is very active right now and I do expect some serious electronic disturbances right around April 15. Transmit early.

I could not have picked a better time to corner the market on file cabinets.

Earl

wow and I thought this was a site for professionals such as CPA's who must gather "sufficient, competent, evidential matter BEFORE providing ANY opinion.

Did you even go to the website and look at it? From your noncomparitive Windows post I doubt it!

Not everything Gate's puts out is the best at what it does.

You have to take your gate's Printscreen AND THEN take it to another program, paint!!!!!!!!!

I hit my PrintScreen button (oh no need for a two handed ALT PLUS Printscreen), crop, change size, scribble on it, save, email, print ALL IN ONE.

Oh, Earl I have been using PC's AFTER leaving mini's & mainframes in the 70's from the 8088 8Mhz 5 1/2 floppy no hardrive through 286 (damn it was a speed burner), 386, 486, hell with numbers pentium et al

I NEVER opin without researching first, I sincerely hope you don't practice Tax in the same manner.

As to JD he also said alsewhere he bought ONE QuickFinder years ago and suggests everyone should by one. Gee Taxation is the only profession where Congress repeals OUR tax knowledge ANNUALY! AND JD, do you still use it as a reference?

Oh Quickfinder, it was written by the guys with TaxBook, they didn't like how is progressed so they now have a BETTER product TAXBOOK, and this year it went "to the internet with a FULLY hypernated version, not just front contenr to page but index to page AND all references on a page all hyperlinked. SURE BEATS MY 15 CCH VOLUMNS ON A CONFERENCE TABLE OPEN TO DIFFERENT PAGES TO JUSY FIND ONE CLIENT'S SIMPLE QUESTION.

Kevin, I don't have a NON serious part of my being, comes from where I spent 1968!

It probably won't be long before I get banned hear, with opin's without research and JD's Atty contempt comments. WHAT is it with ALL Atty's anyway.

Kevin, I just realized I WILL stay here, because I will just USE others for my benefit, daily, with NO intelligent, researched reply posts to help others, JD showed me what that gets me!

Bye Guys & Dolls keep up your non research opinionating replies.

JD, perhaps if you DON"T have something constructive to ADD to a post maybe "NO COMMENT"
