Three prominent researchers present very encouraging news on brain research.
The drug D-cycloserine, which appears to be very helpful for PTSD, has been used to treat TB for years, though use for PTSD would be off label. Some possible good news for Autism. Very good news for Alzheimer's. I think these speakers are particularly good, though the Chinese lady has a strong accent (but hey, I can't speak Chinese at all, at least she speaks English). http://videolectures.net/mitworld_insel_tsai_ressler_flatow_mind/ |

UW. At Taxalmanac, we post all the news that is fit to know. I'm planning a big article on endangered frogs pretty soon. As goes the frogs, so goes us.
I think Kevin has taken over honeybee advocacy for me, but I have not heard any reports from him in a while about them. I have suspected for some time that the granulated sugar syndicate is waging chemical warfare against the bees. John Lee Hooker: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lp2Wl0yMufc&list=RD02Lp2Wl0yMufc |
