Just thought I'd bring a smile to eveyones weary faces as we move to the post tax season. I just read an article on AOL that says that accounting is the new, hot, career field. It further says that accounting has become the new sexy, challenging and dangerous field to be in following the demise of Arthur Anderson and the Enron scandals. Who'd of thought!?

I'll believe it when I turn on 24 and see that Jack Bauer has quit CTU to become an accountant.:-)

Haha, I wish! I think most people still consider us the ones most likely to suffer from a mid life crisis, and become cattle ranchers somewhere in the midwest. What these people don't know is that we really are dangerous...just look at how we often expense a repair instead of capitalizing it!

Greetings to all.

It is good to hear good things about a profession that has historically been misunderstood, maligned, criticized, stereotyped, underpaid, overworked, restrictive and dysfunctional.

Thank you.
