Did you purchase this and if so, how's it going? I am looking at this as well.

I've been using Accounting Relief and Payroll Relief for the last 12 months. It's a mixed bag. It really depends on what

you're going to use it for and how it fits with your way of doing things. They have made a number of improvements to Accounting Relief over the last 6 months so that it's a fairly decent program now, but it does have some limitations. Payroll Relief does an OK job as a payroll processing software, but it's kind of quirky the way it handles some things. They have just announced that Payroll Relief will be receiving some major improvements over the next 3 months. Internet Explorer, Firefox & Chrome are the browsers that are supported. I did sign up for the Power Practice from the beginning. I probably wouldn't do that again. I suggest that you pick either Accounting Relief or Payroll Relief or at the most both on a month to month payment basis while you figure out whether it's going to work for you. Accountant's World uses Amazon Web Servers to host their applications. As you may know Amazon has had 3 different incidents in the last year that took down a number of websites etc for several hours at a time. Last summer Accountant's World was down one afternoon and we users had no idea what was going on until the next morning.

I have one large client that I set up on Payroll Relief. It's OK I guess. I like the fact that the client can print the checks on blank check stock so I don't have to print and deliver. I also like that it's on the cloud.

I played around with Accounting Relief. I really want to like the program. I think it's a great idea but I just couldn't get used to it.

I will say this about Accountants World. Their customer support SUCKS! I'd put more clients on it if it wasn't for the lack of customer support. Phone support is almost non-existent and there is no two way communication with the email support. They'll have me sold if they fix these problems.

I also really want to like AccountsWorld.

I have been trying to use it for over 5 years now. As far as I know they have no real competition but their customer service sucks bad!

I keep trying modules and making suggestions then get frustrated and go away.

They have a support system built in where you submit a support request - seems good so far - but - after you write your request you can see it's title and status but you can never see it's content again and they often mark them as completed even when they are not. I have had to set up an auxiliary tracking system to keep track of my own requests to see if they are really fixed.

And then their forum - first they called it an enhancement forum and only wanted enhancement requests but since their is no active user forum their customers have been using it as one. You wouldn't believe the number of frustrated customers begging for attention. Their customer support people must be way too busy. They almost never respond.

I must admit I have seen some slight improvements lately - maybe cuz they have a new COO maybe cuz someone started an unoffcial public user forum although I have bee the only one to post there - [1]

Their Cyber Cabinet also looks great (as a secure portal) but it is expensive and every time I look at the their In-house Forum I see people crying for help and being ignored - so I signed up for Drake's instead [2]

I keep hoping but would jump ship completely if I knew of any good alternatives. Are there any?
