I second the motion. TA was like a bird on my shoulder during tax season.

At the stroke of midnight, there's still a line - I'll betcha - at the Post Office!! There's gotta be a better way...!

But the help from this website really fills in some gaps in what we need to know. Hats off to y'all. Come again next year!!

I heard that the main post office at 30th Street in Philadelphia was to close at 9 last night; I suppose with internet filings etc, the need for the midnight run was gone. For anyone who ever was there in the "Golden Years" it was a scene not to be believed. The cars outside would snake about 30th Street Station and into line to drop off the returns. Walking about in the lobby, a person could make money helping the desperate with their returns. Usually someone would come dressed as Uncle Sam, and sometimes there would be quiet protestors. Hard to do that on the internet, hun?

I applaud all of those who helped me out this tax season and hope that I have been able to help a few as well. This forum is a terrific resource for sole practitioners like myself who have no one else in the office to kick ideas around with. Thanks again!

Amen FLAcct.....

I made an effort between clients to help a couple of people with specific issues I happened across previously. It was fun and nice to give back.
