| Another issue like Swift Boats that is only of interest to the media and probably will drown out some of the real political debate on the economy that is necessary. Democrats taking a page out of Karl Rove's book?
While I like the killing bin Laden scenario that is reported in the book better, sound more like a cowboy movie. I suspect the orders were to shoot at any movement and probably no one in the administration was unhappy he was dead. I certainly would not wanted to see him captured alive. If he was alive, no American abroad would be safe from being taken hostage. Remember the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, where terrorists killed so many. Well, the Germans exchanged the terroristd captured alive for the hostages on the Lufthansa airliner. Think what would be happening if bin Laden was alive and in Gitmo. | |
