My client, a stuntman, earned money for working in a movie in California three years ago. He has since moved to Colorado and now receives residuals from the old job. To which state are these residuals taxed--California or Colorado?

Do your research by checking the tax rules of each state. Hawaii taxes all income and gives a deduction for taxes paid to other states. Every state is different. taxea
