| A client called our office and she said that at a real estate presentation, the presenter encouraged people to buy a new car in 2008 because this year has some provision that allows the real estate professional to take more of a car deduction than before.
I am looking everywhere and I don't see anything. The only thing I can think of is the 58.5 cents per business mile deduction but that doesn't require buying a new car. Any ideas what she could be talking about?

I was going to say something sarcastic about Real Estate Pros and their "it's all about me" mindset, but why? Next year they will be looking for ways to slide back into the 58.5 cents a mile allowance because all their depreciation is gone.
