| This is probably a very easy question, but I just can’t think of the proper description. I am doing a final return for a C-Corp and zeroing out the balance sheet. I have a negative retained earnings and I am doing an M2 adjustment to zero it out. I am not sure what description I should use. Any suggestions? | |

| How about "to close account"?
Does some rule about periods and quote marks also apply to question marks? lol Now I know I have had it. How about "transfer sufficient capital to close deficit in retained earnings"?

| "Does some rule about periods and quote marks also apply to question marks [and quote marks]?" Yes, some rule, but not the same rule.
The answer to the other question is "plug." Except in Britain it's "plug".
