| Partnership held 8 rental properties. 5 were sold. The other 3 were refinanced in one the of partners names. This is the final return. How do I book the distribution of these 3 houses to the one partner? Is it the partnership basis? How on tax return is this captured? | |

| Assuming that the properties were not contributed by any partner, this would generally be treated as a sale under Reg ยง 1.707-6. | |
