Would you consider salon styling chairs "furniture" or "equipment"? I placed them under 7 year furniture but client thinks it ought to be equipment over 5 years. I could go either way I suppose but wondering your experience. Thanks.

I would be inclined to say they are equipment due to their use and mechanical features. They are not used as functional furniture pieces.

I think it would fall under "assets unique to personal & professional services" & have a 5 year life. It's not a typical chair to be used in any business.

Thanks -- I tend to agree & will change the category.
