| I have a client who started her and disolved a business in 2005. She has some cell phone expenses and I am unsure how to include them on her schedule C. I know that cell phones are listed property and should be depreciated but I cannot depreciate an item for a business that was started and disolved in the same year. Any thoughts on how to handle this? Thanks for your help.

| Are you wanting to record the cost of the phone or just some of the phone calls?

| Write off the phone this year. Depreciate? Section 179? Listed property? The phone costs a whole $99?....unless you got one of those fancy $129 ones!
